Amanda Holden has gone above and beyond the conventional ways of keeping her job – by getting a tattoo of boss Simon Cowell on her thigh.
But before you begin to worry that Mandy has gone completely bonkers, it is all simply a joke.
The 44-year-old stunner showed off her Simon dedication during the filming of tonight’s Graham Norton Show, alongside Carey Mulligan, Noomi Rapace, and Jessie Ware.
Amanda’s stunt could have been in response to Simon’s brilliant, if cruel, Call or Delete prank last week when he convinced her that she would be replaced with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on the live shows of Britain’s Got Talent.
Showing off his mischievous side, the 55-year-old decided to ring good friend Amanda and tell her he’d had an idea on how to shake up this year’s BGT.
He explained how he wanted Chezza on the judging panel for two out of the seven live shows, because she’s “younger” and knows more about the singers and other musical acts.
The lovely Amanda didn’t take Simon’s news fantastically well, telling him she wasn’t *really* okay with it, but could sort of understand if it was for the “good of the show,” as he’d explained.
What a ruddy good sport, eh?
Despite being flustered by the sudden news, she did quite enjoy his suggestion that Jeremy Clarkson could replace David Walliams on the panel for the show’s semi-final.
Simon couldn’t resist one more horrible twist though, suggesting that Amanda could actually sit at home and WRITE NOTES about what she thought of the show during the nights Chez was on, and feed them back to the team afterwards.
Not surprisingly, his suggestion was met a firm NO from the actress.
After teasing her for long enough, the music mogul eventually broke the news that he’d been winding her up all along, resulting in Amanda telling him she ‘hated’ him and announcing that she needed a gin to get over the stress.
We don’t blame you, Amanda!
