Angelina Jolie’s Birthday: Her Most Glamorous Pics

She walks many a red carpet for her job.

And Angelina Jolie knows how to ramp up the glam factor at awards ceremonies and premieres, whether she’s draped in metallics, black leather, or showing the lads how to wear a suit.

As Ange celebrates her 40th birthday today, we’re celebrating with her most glam pics.

1. Angelina’s Glam Silver Gown

Angelina looked like she was swathed in molten silver at the Critics’ Choice Awards in January 2015.

This Versace gown draped and flowed in all the right places and looked like a metallic waterfall billowing over the actress. Gorgeous curls, jewels and make-up made it all the more glam.

2. Angelina’s Glam Cape

You can be totes glam without being overtly sexy, as Angie proved at the UK premiere of ‘Unbroken’.

It might have been the depths of November 2014 when Angelina took to the red carpet for her film, but she bared her arms and legs in this smart Ralph & Russo dress and went for a sleek updo.

Particularly loving the cape that adds ladylike chic (and some much-needed warmth, no doubt).

3. Angelina’s Glam Leather

Black leather is a very fitting material for a Disney villain.

And Angelina picked her outfit perfectly for the ‘Maleficent’ premiere in Los Angeles in May 2014, going for a daring Versace number complete with dramatic train.

Check out the spiked gold cuffs too. Tres glam, and edgy, indeed.

4. Angelina’s Glam Beading

Angelina kept her legs firmly inside this gown at the Oscars in March 2014 (following *that* interesting pose out of a thigh-split dress at the ceremony in 2012).

And this Elie Saab showed how covering up can still be ultra-glam, with its beading and sparkles.

Brad scrubs up pretty well there too.

5. Angelina’s Glam Tux

Angelina showed us how to make suits sexy with her take on a tux at the BAFTAs in February 2014.

The pointed heels, the undone neck, the flowing hair; it all brought a glam, feminine side to this Saint Laurent outfit. Nailed. It.

Keep going all-out glam, Angie, and we’ll keep envying your wardrobe.
