Describing the incident in a behind-the-scenes video from the tour’s opening night in Kansas City, the 21-year-old explained: “I’m supposed to be going in my lift for Love My Harder, in this wooden thing that raises up. So the wooden thing breaks and goes like this.”

Cue gestures to show exactly how the platform snapped. Yikes.

She continued: “I’m like woo, I’m about to be crunched by mechanical, by like metal s**t and by wood and stuff.

“I go like this and grab this thing,” show viewers how she grabbed onto some staging and pulled herself on the stage to carry on.

Yep, not wanting to disappoint her fans, Ari carried on with her performance, explaining that she “didn’t drop the mic,” and that she thought to herself “Oh, I gotta keep singing.”

WHAT A BABE.

Even her crew were impressed with her perseverance, with her guitar technician describing her as “badass. The toughest person I’ve ever met.”

And the end of the video, Ari says: “I’m alive! I’m alive!” which we’re guessing means the whole incident was more terrifying that we can even imagine.

The singer also vented about her near-death experience on Twitter, writing: “it’s so much worse than anything u could imagine lmao i literally can’t even believe i made it on stage / lived to tell the tale ???¿

“anyway… i’m so proud of / thankful for my honeymoon crew / friends. today was a dream (little f ups included). only gets better from here.”

Anyone else worried they might have a new found fear of lifts?

Anyway, massive well done to Ariana for being a proper professional and carrying on like a true pro.

Somebody should just lift her onto stage next time.
