We’re only a few weeks in (maybe, we’ve already lost track of the timebomb on this series) to Big Brother 2015 and already a housemate has been removed for ‘inappropriate behaviour’.
During last night’s show, Aaron Frew was ejected from the lavish house after ‘indecent exposure’ and making ‘unwanted sexually-charged advances’ towards fellow housemate Joel Williams.
Telling Aaron that he would be removed from the house, Big Brother explained: “Aaron, before you entered the Big Brother house, the rules regarding unacceptable behaviour were explained to you.
“Last night you broke these rules. At 2.30am in the bedroom you exposed yourself repeatedly to Joel, whilst using suggestive body language towards him.
“You also invaded his personal space whilst naked. You also got into his bed uninvited whilst naked. Furthermore, despite Joel repeatedly telling you to stop, you continued to persist being sexually provocative towards him and exposing yourself.”
They went on to say that since house rules state that BB will remove housemates who behave in a completely unacceptable way, and they deem that he did, they had no choice but to evict him.
Aaron sobbed a lot as he heard their verdict, saying: “I’m so sorry. Oh my God. I can’t believe it. I’m so sorry. I really am. I put my hands up to it, I didn’t mean for it to get that far.
“I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry for everyone. I’m sorry for Joel, I’m sorry mate. I’m so sorry for Big Brother for wasting your time. I’m sorry mum. I’m so sorry for everything. I can’t believe my journey’s ending like this. It meant so much to me. I’m just really sorry.”
The incident at the heart of the removal involved Aaron, 24, who was seemingly drunk at the time, chasing Joel around the bedroom, removing his towel to expose his completely naked body and engaging in sexually-charged conduct.
Joel was uncomfortably throughout, repeatedly telling him: “Stop it, please. No I don’t want to see your bottom.”
He also said: “This is insane! You need to control your behaviour.”
Big Brother eventually called Aaron to the Diary Room, where he apologised: “I really apologise for what I did. It was banter. I’ll apologise to Joel. I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to offend him or you guys.”
Joel later visited to the Diary Room to speak about the incident, explaining: “I feel really uncomfortable. To be totally honest, I think I would have ended up punching (Aaron). I feel like my personal space was invaded.
“I want to emphasise I did nothing at all to entice or welcome that approach. I feel terribly awkward, if that makes sense, that I let that get that far.
“I don’t want to be known as the person who welcomed on that sort of activity. I felt my personal space was violated and I didn’t know how to react to it because it’s never happened to me before.”
Tonight’s four out, four in eviction twist WILL still go ahead as planned.
