Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s family have denied reports that her ‘organs are shutting down’ as she continues to fight for her life.
Bobbi, who was found face down and unconscious in a bath tub over two weeks ago, remains on life support in a hospital in Atlanta.
A family insider has come forward to deny ‘overblown’ reports that say her condition is deteriorating rapidly, explaining that ‘nothing has changed’ over the last week.
An unnamed family member told People magazine: “There hasn’t been a change in the past week.
“Nothing at all. It’s not like her kidneys are shutting down or anything. There hasn’t been any change.”
The family member also spoke briefly about how the family, including Bobby Brown and Cissy Houston, are doing.
They added: “I think we’re all getting on each other’s nerves now.
“Everyone’s under a lot of stress. Bobby doesn’t want any part of the drama; he’s there for Krissi, not for us.”
It’s previously been claimed by sources that Bobbi’s boyfriend Nick Gordon is banned from visiting her in hospital, with Bobbi’s Aunt Pat allegedly putting a restraining order against him following a fight he and Bobbi had.
It’s also reported that Bobby Brown won’t say his name.
The unnamed family member said: “We don’t talk about him. Bobby doesn’t mention him at all, ever. We’re trying to give positive energy around Krissi, and Nick is not positive energy.”
However, this comes as Bobby’s lawyers Brown & Rosen LLC released a statement asking fans to ignore interviews with Bobbi’s family members.
The statement reads: “At this time it is requested that the media cease speaking with unauthorized members of the family.
“The integrity of the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina must remain uncompromised.”
“Various members of the family have provided media interviews, however, none of them are approved visitors to see Bobbi Kristina.”
Last week, Bobbi’s aunt Leolah Brown said that she was showing encouraging signs that “she will be ok.”
Bobby Brown’s sister spoke to Fox 5 Atlanta about her 21-year-old niece, dismissing claims that the family had been told to prepare for the worst.
She said: “There are so many signs showing us that she will be ok, despite what people are saying over the internet, Krissy is fine.
“She’s opening her eyes and there’s a few more things that she’s doing. Krissy is doing well right now.”
She said that the family remained “hopeful” for Bobbi’s health, before continuing: “It’s been very, very painful for everybody. Mainly Bobby, because that’s his baby.”
There have also been reports that Bobbi ‘suffered facial injuries’ before she was found.
A candlelit vigil was held in her honour last week.
