Ah, Britain’s Got Talent – just when you think that you have seen it all, a dog comes along and hypnotises Simon Cowell to prove you wrong.
Hold on a minute, WHAT?!
According to reports, during the audition stages of the ITV variety show on Friday afternoon, the 55-year-old music mogul passed out in his chair, all because he looked into a mystical pup’s eyes.
Oh, alright… Totally normal then?
The BGT auditions had found their way to Manchester’s Lowry Theatre, with Princess the German Spitz being brought along by her owner, who claimed that the dog can actually hypnotise people with just one glance.
Cue the cynical boos from the audience….
Animal-lover Simon was quick to get up on stage following the owner’s claims, and gave the dog a good ol’ stare in the eyes, before returning to his seat and telling fellow judges, Amanda Holden, David Walliams, and Alesha Dixon that he felt unwell.
Shortly afterwards, Si fell slumped on the judges desk.
Spooooookkkyyyyyyy….. Only problem is, the cameras had just stopped rolling at that point.
Word on the grapevine is that Princess’ owner had to be called back on stage, and the dog removed her curse from the TV judge so that he could wake up.
Kinda like a weird, less beautiful, Sleeping Beauty.
A show source told The Sun: “It was the freakiest moment we have ever had.”
And the mystical madness didn’t stop there, with hosts Ant and Dec also thought to have been affected after looking in Princess’ eyes as they both found themselves forgetting the number ’7′ when they were asked to count to ten.
Very mysterious, and if it’s all how it seems then we have a feeling Princess DEFINITELY made it through to the next round.
Although we don’t think the Queen would be too keen to have the pup be guest of honour at the Royal Variety Show later this year…
