BRITs 2015: Jimmy Carr, Laura Whitmore, And Ashley Roberts Refused VIP Entry At After Party – EXCLUSIVE

The BRIT Awards were a pretty star-studded affair, and with every celeb from Ed Sheeran to Ant and Dec rocking up at the Warner after party, it is understandable that security might let a few of the stars slip through the net.

In fact, security was so strict last night that we can exclusively reveal that the likes of Jimmy Carr, Laura Whitmore, and Ashley Roberts were actually refused entry into the prestigious, curtained-off area… Erm, awks?

First up was comedian Jimmy, who was on a mission to party with Orlando Bloom and Robert Pattinson when we spotted him being stopped in his tracks for not having the appropriate wrist-band.

Tsk tsk.

Thankfully for Jimbo, security must be 8 Out of 10 Cats fans because after a short while of, ‘Sorry mate, you’re not being allowed in’ he finally clocked that it was Jimmy frickin’ Carr he was talking to and dashed off to get him a wristband, leaving the 42-year-old awkwardly standing there and looking a tad embarrassed.

Got there in the end, eh Jim?

Unfortunately, security weren’t as big fans of MTV or The Pussycat Dolls, with neither Laura or Ashley being recognised by the bouncers.

We spied TV presenter Laura getting understandably narked as she tried to re-enter the private party, asking security how the bloomin ‘eck they couldn’t recognise her because she was literally there about five minutes previously and actually asked them to remember her face so that she could get back in.

Using the power of persuasion, she eventually got her booty back on that dancefloor with no extra help, whereas former Pussycat Doll, Ashley, had to text her good pal’ Ant McPartlin to come and have a word to get herself into that coveted area.

All’s well that ends well though and after some sweet-talking, quiet words, and persistence all the stars’ wounded up exactly where they were supposed to be – propping up Ed Sheeran on the dancefloor.

And, even more impressively, not one of them pulled out the old ‘Don’t you know who I am?’ card, which, all things considered, we reckon is a pretty admirable feat.

Meanwhile, we spied Jonathan Ross and Dermot O’Leary snubbing the VIP section entirely, instead opting to spend the night chatting in the corner and laughing at things on Jonathan’s phone…. Dare we even ask?
