The interview, which will be shown on April 24, has been highly anticipated, although many details of what we can expect have been kept firmly under wraps.
However, it is reported that Bruce’s transition into womanhood will be the focus.
In the second teaser clip for the big interview, Bruce speaks for the first time as he walks through the snow with Diane.
The 65-year-old says: “My whole life has been getting me ready for this.”
Last week, the first promo clip for ‘Bruce Jenner – The Interview’ was released, with a voiceover promising: “The interview, the journey, the decisions, the future.”
The clip was revealed during Grey’s Anatomy, and suggested that the interview will cover all aspects of his transition into womanhood.
A source also recently told People that “Bruce’s primary goal is to bring awareness to this issue in order to help others in the transgender community.”
They added that he “wants this to be taken seriously so that his situation can have the most positive impact on society’s perception of the transgender community.”
We applaud him for wanting to make a difference which such an important issue.
Sources close to Bruce have told TMZ that the interview will focus on his mental state and his journey, with the former Olympian seeing the chat as the most significant event associated with his upcoming sex change.
It is thought that the star will recount his life from the age of five, when he first realised that he identified as a woman, and detail the emotional turmoil of living as a man but not “feeling like one”, with the father-of-six also revealing the impact that his decision to have a sex change has had on his famous family.
Apparently Bruce also explains his reasons for filming such a high-profile interview about his personal life, bravely sharing that he wants to both “free himself and educate the public”, so that others in his position don’t have to go through the pain that he did.
Reports claim that he won’t dress as a woman for the chat, which will be “far-ranging and exclusive,” but that it will serve as a “farewell” to the reality star’s male persona.
