The moment that Bruce Jenner told his daughters about his rumoured sex change will be shown in an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, according to new reports.
Set to steal the limelight from every other big moment featured in the show, yes including Kim Kardashian and Kanye West‘s Wedding, the 65-year-old was apparently totally blasé about the whole thing before things got a tad emotional.
Us weekly claim that Bruce told daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and step-daughters Kourtney, Khloe, and Kim Kardashian, that he was transitioning into a woman in Kourtney’s living room on January 19th, which iconically is the same day that Khloe posted a family picture of the group on MazSight.
A source told the mag: “He literally started the conversation with, ‘Hey guys, I’m becoming a woman, but I’m sure you probably already figured that out.”
It is then said that the former Olympian got “a little emotional” as the conversation progressed and is said to have told his family to simply say, “Bruce is in a very good and happy place,” when asked about him by the press.
The source continued: “There was so much speculation, and they were all wondering about the truth. Bruce had to address it with them.
“He got a little emotional, but it wasn’t a jaw-dropping conversation, it’s a surprise to the girls that he is doing this at 65.”
Having asked his children to call him by his new female name rather than Bruce, seventeen-year-old Kylie and nineteen-year-old Kendall are said to be very supportive of their dad, and have told him to “just be yourself”.
The insider dished: “They want nothing more than for their dad to enjoy the life he wants to live.”
A sentiment that we whole-heartedly agree with.
The full conversation is expected to air in episode thirteen in the current series of the hit reality show.
