According to the clip, Bruce will open up about his “journey” and his “future” on ‘Bruce Jenner: The Interview,’ which will air on ABC on April 24.
Although the new clip doesn’t really reveal too much, other than a few shots of Bruce and Diana talking, a voiceover promises: “The interview, the journey, the decisions, the future.”
The clip was revealed during Grey’s Anatomy, and suggests the interview will cover all aspects of his transition into womanhood.
The 65-year-old’s two-hour long interview has been highly anticipated, with reports previously claiming that he won’t dress as a woman for the chat (which we can vaguely see in the clip), but that it will serve as a “farewell” to the reality star’s male persona.
Sources close to Bruce have told TMZ that the interview will focus on his mental state and his journey, with the former Olympian seeing the chat as the most significant event associated with his upcoming sex change.
It is thought that the star will recount his life from the age of five, when he first realised that he identified as a woman, and detail the emotional turmoil of living as a man but not “feeling like one”, with the father-of-six also revealing the impact that his decision to have a sex change has had on his famous family.
Apparently Bruce also explains his reasons for filming such a high-profile interview about his personal life, bravely sharing that he wants to both “free himself and educate the public”, so that others in his position don’t have to go through the pain that he did.
TMZ’s sources claim that the “most compelling moments” in the show, which is set to air on ABC on April 24th, are when Bruce talks about the mundane, day-to-day aspects of his life that will change when he is living as a woman.
Although Kris Jenner and the Kardashian-Jenner Klan will actually be in Armenia when his big interview airs, his ex-wife has been spotted visiting Bruce at his home before the interview, alongside Kourtney Kardashian.
Kris’ visit comes after her sister claim Bruce’s sex change has left his ex-wife ‘humiliated’.
Karen Houghton told RadarOnline: “As with anyone, it has embarrassed my sister. It’s been humiliating for her.”
Karen added that it had been ‘hard’ on Kendall and Kylie Jenner, revealing: “I told Kendall and Kylie, ‘I love your dad, I will always love him. I don’t care what he is or does’. I know this is hard on them.”
She admitted she’ll be tuning in to the interview, adding: “Oh, are you kidding! Yes! I’d like to see it. I was shocked at the age though. I couldn’t do something like that.
“I really admire him for being brave and doing what he wanted to do. And now he’s doing it.”
