Well this is quite a turn up for the books, eh?
After speaking about her last marriage in what could be described as ‘less-than-favourable’ terms, internet sensation Caitlyn Jenner has now said that her marriage to Kris Jenner was full of ‘good times’.
Huh?! Make up yer friggin’ mind, love.
Tweeting yesterday evening, it appeared that Cait was chilling out at home, drinking a nice glass of red, and having a flick through her issue of Vanity Fair – and it got her to thinking:
“Reading the VF article reminded me of the love & good times Kris & I shared for so many years.
Wouldn’t trade that time for anything!”
Well we guess Kris must have been pretty glad to hear this.
But in the same interview that conjured up for Caitlyn memories of ‘love and good times’, she also said that the reason the marriage broke down was because Kris didn’t treat her right.
“Twenty per cent was gender and 80 per cent was the way I was treated,” the former Olympian said.
“She had her own money, she didn’t need me as much from that standpoint. The relationship was different. I think in a lot of ways she became less tolerant of me.”
“Then I’d get upset and the whole relationship kind of fizzled.”
Speaking in the same interview, Kris wasn’t exactly full of joy and optimism about it either.
She told the magazine that the split was the “the most passive-aggressive thing I think I’ve ever experienced.”
“Why would you want to be married and have kids if this is what you wanted since you were a little boy? Why would you not explain this all to me?”
Speaking about their time together, she also confirmed that gender wasn’t what drove them apart: “There wasn’t a gender issue. Nobody mentioned a gender issue.”
NO GENDER ISSUES, OK GUYS.
Anyway, it seems like Caitlyn’s raised the white flag, so hopefully these two can become top pals sometime soon, huh?
