Camilla Parker Bowles recently donned a tartan dress while at the Alford Community Campus in Aberdeenshire.

Bowles’ sighting came just one day before Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s Wedding. While the other members of the royal family arrived in Windsor Castle on Thursday, Bowles attended her engagements in Scotland on the same day.

Upon leaving the campus, Bowles was given a posy of flowers by royal fans. She was also photographed in her tartan skirt and a matching scarf. Prince Charles’ wife was also seen baking in the school while attending a home economics class.

While at Tough Primary School, Bowles was photographed helping children with their watercolors, and she also met with the school staff. On Friday, Oct. 12, Bowles will attend a harvest festival at Crathie Primary School near her Birchall residence.

Tomorrow’s official engagement will coincide with Princess Eugenie’s nuptials at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. This means that the Duchess of Cornwall will most likely skip the 11 a.m. ceremony. As of late, it is unclear whether or not she will attend the evening reception.

On Thursday, it was reported that Bowles won’t be able to attend the second royal wedding of the year because she organized a house party with her friends on the same day. However, Victoria Arbiter, a royal commentator, clarified that Bowles missing Princess Eugenie’s special day doesn’t indicate any malice or ill-feelings.

“Royals don’t like to disappoint. Given she’d already committed to attending a school event it’s duty first,” Arbiter tweeted.

The royal commentator went on to say that official engagements are typically above personal occasions.

“It’s at a school and was scheduled long before. I expect she doesn’t want to disappoint the children. She would have spoken to Eugenie about it,” she said.

Other than Bowles, there are also speculations claiming that Prince Philip will skip Princess Eugenie’s special day.
