This year’s Celebrity Big Brother has been full of drama, controversy, and screaming rows, with the nation uniting in agreement that Perez Hilton might just be one of the most irritating housemates ever to grace the show.
However, last night’s episode saw Perez’s nemesis, Katie Hopkins, lay into the single father’s parenting skills before vowing to make his time in the house as miserable as possible, and now viewers think that the rent-a-gob might just have gone too far.
One of the many outraged fans of the show included comedian Ricky Gervais, who took to Twitter to accuse Katie of ‘calculated bullying’, with thousands of his followers quickly retweeting and favouriting what he had to say.
The 53-year-old wrote: “Why is it ok for Katie Hopkins to announce that she is trying to make things as awful as possible for Perez? Isn’t that calculated bullying?”

Before adding: “Perez may be a self obsessed man-child, but I think there’s a difference between being a loud general tw*t and targeted victimisation.”
And Ricky’s sentiments appear to echo the majority of fans’ opinions on the show, with everybody acknowledging that Perez is, erm, challenging to live with, to say the least, but that doesn’t mean that he deserves Katie’s constant goading:
#CBB- So clearly Perez is annoying, but does that give @KTHopkins the right to be a vile bully and goad someone continually? If it was a man

Katie Hopkins really is a vile bully. If you don’t like someone, ignore them, not goad them #CBB

First it was Helen Wood, now it’s Katie Hopkins. Seems the British public now love a bully. No wonder society is in the state it is. #cbb
