Bad news if you were looking to say goodbye to Perez Hilton in tomorrow night’s Celebrity Big Brother 2015 eviction, because it’s all been CANCELLED following Alexander O’Neal’s decision to quit.
And why did he quit? Oh, because of that teeny, tiny row he had with Perez himself, of course.
Just when you thought things inside the house couldn’t POSSIBLY get more dramatic, tension-filled or shouty.
OH HOW WRONG WE WERE.
The surprise announcement regarding the 61-year-old’s departure was made yesterday afternoon, but the reasons behind it weren’t revealed until last night during the show.
Not that anyone had failed to guess that it *might* just have something to do with the celebrity blogger he was caught in a nasty row with the other day.
Housemates were visibly and hugely shocked by the news, with many shedding tears and berating Perez for his treatment of the legendary US singer.
Alexander did have a heartfelt message for his fellow contestants though, saying via BB: “To all my housemates, I have had a great experience with you guys and I have mad love for almost all of you. I want you guys to not be sad that I’m leaving and to not let my departure interrupt your experience.”
Hmm, let us hazard a guess as to who he DOESN’T have mad love for. Probably the quiet one of the house, Perez, but who knows really.
The ‘Criticise’ singer was still noticeably agitated about his previous feud with Perez before his departure last night, telling housemates that he wouldn’t eat the dinner they prepared because the blogger had breathed on it, and walking around with what sounded like shaky breath.
DRAMZ DRAMZ DRAMZ.
He also spoke to Katie Hopkins and Michelle Visage about the incident which had led to his warning for offensive language after he called Perez a “f***ot.” Not cool, Alexander.
He told Katie and Michelle: “He knows well that he couldn’t do that out there, but he did that in here “cos it’s safe in the Big Brother house. He taunted me … no man taunts me EVER, you don’t play with me.”
He also later apologised for any offensive caused to the gay community by his use of the inapproriate word, saying: “I apologise to the gay community. I have gay cousins, gay friends, I have gay people in my family that I love with a passion.”
He also revealed his discomfort about Perez in the Diary Room, telling BB: “In the real world I could just remove myself from the situation. I don’t want to focus my attention on Perez. His presence anywhere I am just makes me sick.”
“I’m in this state it makes me isolate myself, not only from Perez, but from everybody and then when I do that it’s only going to create more tension.”
Strangely, no footage of Alexander actually asking BB to leave in the Diary Room was aired, leading to questions about what *exactly* he said in there. Hmm.
However, a source close to the singer spoke to The Sun about why they thought he’d had enough, explaining: “Alex is a man with morals and principles. He is fair and will give everyone he meets a chance, but he just can’t tolerate disrespect in any form.
“Perez was taunting him. He was baiting him and trying to get a reaction so he would be chucked out. By the end he was following him everywhere like a shadow. If someone behaved like that outside the house, especially when Alex was younger, they would have settled it man to man. It was getting to the stage where Alex was going to react.
“He is in his 60s now, he’s a responsible adult and he knows how to behave. He can’t be on telly hitting someone, no matter how much they may deserve it. Alex knew he let himself down when he called Perez a f***** and he wasn’t prepared to let himself down again, so he took the decision to leave.
“He doesn’t need the exposure and he can live without the money. On top of that he was missing his wife. He couldn’t stand to be in there any longer and he did the only thing he could, he walked. It was the best thing for everyone.”
Unsurprisingly, housemates were pretty ticked off with Perez, with Kavana shouting in a rare outburst: “F***ing disgusting! Another one bites the f***ing dust at the expense of a f***ing mad man.”
Cami Li and Michelle both also made their disgust vocal, whilst Katie added: “You really are a disgusting, disgusting nothing of a person, nothing!”
Unusual for Katie to get involved, isn’t it?
As a result of the THIRD housemate leaving without being evicted, tomorrow (Tuesday) night’s eviction has been CANCELLED, which we’re sure will please everyone hoping to see the back of Perez.
The question is, will there even be any housemates left by the end of this series?! QUESTIONNABLE.
