Ken Morley caused a whole house load of controversy during his short stint in Celebrity Big Brother 2015, and today it’s been reported that he could’ve caused a whole lot more if producers hadn’t given him the boot.
Un-aired scenes apparently show housemates threatening to stage a mass walkout if the former Coronation Street actor wasn’t removed over his “unacceptable” comments.
Considering producers probably didn’t want ANY MORE trouble, removing the actor was probably a good shout.
The Daily Star reports that Perez Hilton and Nadia Sawalha led the celebrities, who were outraged by Ken’s ‘abusive and racist’ language, as they told producers: “Kick him out or we will go.”
Despite bosses apparently not wanting to lose a second celebrity in just two days, it’s claimed that they eventually decided to remove Ken when the housemates began packing up their stuff.
SO MUCH DRAMA.
A show insider explained: “If they had all gone, it would have been the end of the show, probably for ever.
“There is no way that BB could have survived the shock of a mutiny of that order.”
Mutiny?! Sounds a bit over the top to us.
Nadia, 50, talked to Big Brother about the almost-walkout as she confessed that Ken was “making [her] really ill” in the Diary Room.
She added: “I didn’t want my kids to see me cry.”
The actress had already threatened to get the police involved when the actor tried to explain his sexist comments and why he openly ogles girls’ bums.
He said: “They’ve got the best looking bodies. they’ve got the best looking a***s – what is wrong with a man looking?”
Most housemates were thrilled when BB announced the 71-year-old actor’s exit, with 36-year-old Perez immediately bursting into tears and exclaiming: “I feel like a weight has been lifted off the house. I feel like we’re cancer-free now.”
ERM, okay then.
Katie Hopkins, on the other hand, wasn’t so excited with the news, telling Patsy Kensit that she believes Perez was to blame for the whole thing, explaining his departure was: “because the guy came into the house and Perez got rid of him.
“We’re left with the idiot American.”
Let’s just hope no-one else’s comments force all of the housemates to walkout!
Mainly because we’re not quite sure what else we’ll do with our January evenings.
