Celebrity Big Brother 2015′s Alicia Douvall: ‘I Never Want My Daughters To Have Plastic Surgery’

Celebrity Big Brother evictee, Alicia Douvall, was made famous thanks to her worrying addiction to plastic surgery, so you may be surprised to learn that she’s now actively against going under the knife, and most certainly wouldn’t be happy if either of her two daughters followed her lead.

The 35-year-old was given the CBB boot on Friday, and has now spoken out on motherhood, also taking the time to slam her former housemates for treating her as “the thick one”, when she badly suffers from dyslexia.

Mother to nineteen-year-old georgia and three-year-old Papaya, Alicia told The Sun: “My biggest achievement in life is where my daughters are. I don’t want them to make the same mistakes that I did.

“I want them to know that you should never rely on a man, and never let a man abuse you.

“And I never want them to have surgery. I want them to be happy with their bodies the way that they are.

“I made the mistake of trying to get through life that way, but I don’t want the same for them.

“Everyone should get an education.”

Thankfully, Alicia’s eldest daughter is already on the right path, with the 35-year-old adding: “My teenage daughter, Georgia, is the complete opposite to me.

“She has been with the same boyfriend for three years, is anti-plastic surgery and very studious.

“She is studying acting at Bath University and plans to do a masters. She’s been through more than a ninteen-year-old should have done, but it’s made her stronger and us much closer.”

The former glamour model also spoke out about how she dropped out of school at fourteen thanks to her struggle with dyslexia, and revealed that she is still planning on home-schooling her toddler, explaining: “I was really angry about being labelled the thick one [in the house].

“Because I’m dyslexic I left school at fourteen  without learning to read or write, so I don’t have any of the basics other people have, like the alphabet. But that doesn’t mean I’m thick.

“And it doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t home school my child. I was worried about it at first, but then I realised that you can learn with your child. You don’t have to know everything.

“If you don’t know about something, you can Google it. So far we’ve learnt shapes, the alphabet and the sounds of letters – like what sound a c makes – I didn’t know that before.”

Well, we say good on Alicia for putting in the effort to learn now – you have to say, it’s ruddy admirable.

Despite coming to blows with the likes of Katie Hopkins and Cami-Li in the Big Brother house, Alicia insists that she has absolutely no regrets, and that her stint on the show was the “experience of a lifetime”.

And to be honest, watching it feels like a bit of a “lifetime experience” at times too – and that’s exactly why we love it.
