Well, he’s certainly been entertaining to watch, hasn’t he?
Gary Busey was crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother last night, leaving former boxer Audley Harrison in second place.
The former Hollywood actor and star of Lethal Weapon and Point Break was the favourite to win yesterday, with bookies offering odds of 4/6 (we’re not very good at maths, but apparently that’s VERY good).
The very first American to win the show, Gary told all-round fave Emma Willis upon leaving the house that: “It’s a feeling of surprise and a honour and a tribute to my love for this country.”
“This show showed me things about myself that I need to change… Big Brother is perfection and they gave me guidance.”
Aww, who knew Gazza could be SUCH a little cutie, eh?
Gary had divided opinion throughout his time in the house, clashing with pretty much EVERY single housemate and providing some incredibly LOL-tastic moments.
Moonies in the kitchen, anyone? What a hero.
It was Edele and Dee who were first to face the Elstree public last night, coming sixth and fifth place respectively – with Edele nearly falling down the stairs on her way out (which was simultaneously awkward, hilarious and amazing).
Gogglebox’s George Gilbey came fourth, and apparent super-villain James Jordan (AKA that one off of Strictly Come Dancing) came third.
And after getting booed on his way out, James bemoaned the British sense of humour, saying: “People just don’t get my humour. Where’s the British humour gone. I’m not a malicious person, I do everything in jest.”
Maybe if he’d got his bum out more and made everyone else feel uber-awks the whole time, people would’ve voted HIM the winner, eh?
CONGRATS GARY, YOU’RE A national FRIGGIN’ TREASURE.
