She’s admitted to being bad with money.
But despite complaining that she’ll have to ‘work for the rest of her life’, it seems that Charlotte Church still has a small fortune.
It’s been revealed that the singer has a pretty reasonable £3.7 million left in the bank… which is a lot more than us normals.
Kept that one quiet!
According to documents, her company Charlotte Church Ltd, has a net worth of 3.65m quid, which would give her more than double the annual UK salary to live off of if she DID retire now.
But it seems that the 28-year-old needs more than £50,730 a year to keep her afloat, as her spending habits are ker-razy.
Last week she told BBC Wales: “I will have to work for the rest of my life. Not because I want to but because I have to.
“I always understood that all that stuff isn’t important and my career was not the be and end all. The tax man is looking at my accounts wondering where I’m hiding all my money.”
Charlotte’s finances have decreased dramatically over the last ten years, however, her net worth shrinking from £25 million in 2003 to just £8 million in 2013.
Seriously – WHAT HAS SHE SPENT IT ALL?!
But Charl has always been bad with money, apparently, and struggles to live according to her means.
She recently told Stylist: “I haven’t got a lot of money. I’ve got enough to be comfortable if I was reasonable for the rest of my life, but I’m not reasonable, so I will have to find a way to sustain my lifestyle.”
Better stop with the splurging, yeah, Charl!
