She’s admitted in the past that she was a ‘total b*tch’.
But now Cher Lloyd has slated the show that launched her career saying that X Factor ‘made her feel like she wasn’t good enough’.
Speaking to Fabulous magazine, she said:
“I felt like people thought there was something wrong with who I was… I behaved badly because that was the only way I could deal with it.”
While on the show Cher was accused of acting like a diva and Louis Walsh has since labeled her the worst behaved contestant in the ten year history of X Factor.
However, in attempt to explain her actions in another new interview with the Guardian, Cher said she was uncomfortable with the direction the show was pushing her in:
“I felt like I was being pulled and tugged in different directions. The worst thing for me was that I had I felt wasn’t good enough because there was so much “You should wear this” or “You should sound like this”,” she said, adding:
“It was a massive self-confidence thing. I was OK before – I was the sort of girl who didn’t really care what people thought of me, so to be put in that position was quite hard.”
However, just in case you were worried, she’s not angry with her mentor Cheryl Cole though. In fact, she absolutely blimmin’ loves her and reckons they should totes do drinks soon.
“I’ve said some stupid things, been an idiot and Cheryl is one person I want to see and speak to,” Cher says.
“She is one woman I would go to for advice. She sent me a lovely tweet when I got married and I’d love to see her soon.”
