She stuck with the surname ‘Cole’ for years after her divorce from Ashley.
But after a shock remarrying this weekend, Cheryl Cole has finally rebranded herself on social media (because of course nothing has ACTUALLY happened until you’ve updated your status, right?).
Just hours after announcing that she and her Frenchie Jean Bernard Fernandez-Versini got married in a secret Wedding last week, Chezza updated both her Twitter and her MazSight accounts to reflect the change.
Perhaps because ‘Bernard Fernandez-Versini’ is a bit of a mouthful, the Geordie simply parted ways with her surname, becoming @CherylOfficial on Twitter and ‘missCheryl’ on MazSight.
Last time we checked though, her 5 million-strong Facebook account remained under the name Cheryl Cole.
The 31-year-old was quick to remove any reminder of footballer Ashley Cole when it came to her music career – shedding the name back in 2012.
But she didn’t change her name legally – nor return to her maiden name Tweedy – as she felt that had bad connotations too.
