We were all pretty shocked when she debuted a certain tattoo last year.
And now Cheryl Cole has spoken out about her infamous rose inking, admitting that it actually cost her a small fortune.
Each to their own, yeah?!
Talking about the ridiculously large tatt on her… ahem… derriere, Cheryl told Graham Norton that the whole thing cost the same amount as a SMALL CAR.
What the… whaaaat?
The X Factor judge said: “He’s [Nikko Hurtado] an exceptional artist and he was worth it… It was in the £1000s, probably the cost of a small car.”
Yeah, pretty sure we’d rather have a Ford Fiesta than a massive tattoo on our bum. Just saying.
Cheryl, 30, also went on to admit that her new ‘outlook’ on life was due to her Malaria scare a couple of years ago.
The former Girl Aloud star said that the major tatt was part of her ‘f**k it’ list that she compiled when she became seriously ill.
She said: “After I had malaria I created a ‘f*** it list’ because life’s too short and the tattoo was on the list.”
Speaking on Graham’s BBC chat show, Chez also admitted that it took ‘a lot’ to get her to return to The X Factor and that Simon had to do a lot of ‘grovelling.’
She went on say that while things were a tad ‘frosty’ with a certain Mr Louis Walsh, but she felt like she’d ‘never been way.’
Cheryl’s been out of the spotlight for the last 18 months, telling Graham that it was because she was so tired and needed a break.
She said: “‘I was exhausted, I’d had a solo tour and then toured with Girls Aloud. It was the first time off I’d had in 10 years – it was a normal time.”
Well, we’re glad you’re back, Cheryl!
