Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has upped the ante in her feud with Nadine Coyle by unfollowing her on Twitter.
It looks like the friendship between the 31-year-old X Factor judge and her ex-band mate is completely over after she unfollowed Nadine on Twitter, which was subsequently picked up by some eagle eyed followers.
One user tweeted: “Can I just pretend Cheryl’s Twitter unfollowed Nadine and not her please?”
Other Twitter fans were not so forgiving, however, with one writing: “Cheryl unfollowing Nadine really why? I love both but find it disrespectful and I’m sure she wont lose sleep over it! (sic)”
The unfollowing is the latest development in an on-going spat between the two former members of Girls Aloud, and comes after Cheryl slammed Nadine earlier this month.
Cheryl was quick to call out Nadine over her comments on not wanting Girls Aloud to split up, and claimed the 29-year-old was “full of s**t”.
She then went on to say: “She wants to come out and say we broke the band up? No! She shouldn’t tell porkie pies. She should remember why we took the hiatus after seven years…”
Cheryl’s comments came after Nadine took to Twitter to claim she had “no part” in the break-up of the girl band when they split following their greatest hits tour in 2013.
She wrote: “You should know by now I had no part in any of this split business. I couldn’t stop them. I had the best time and want to keep going.”
But, if you look at it in terms of album sales, then Cheryl has already won by a landslide.
Nadine’s solo effort, Insatiable, bombed in the charts following its release in 2010, while Cheryl has gone on to hit the number one spot and break records with her solo efforts – not to mention her X Factor slot.
