Cheryl Fernandez-Versini took the fight to her critics tonight as she sang Only Human live on Children In Need, and gave everyone a taste of her real vocal talents.
The 31-year-old singer has recently had to face a storm of criticism after she opted out of a live performance on the X Factor, however, she chose to slam her critics very publicly by singing live on the BBC show.
Looking fabulous in a simple white dress and low key make-up, you couldn’t have got a more stripped back performance from the record-breaking hitmaker.
Taking to the stage the former Mrs. Cole sang without miming, or any pre-recording, and received a thunderous applause from the studio audience.
And, it seems that it wasn’t just the audience who loved Chezza’s emotional performance, with Twitter erupting in praise.
After the barbs and insults that she recieved following her pre-recorded performance on the X Factor two weeks ago, her BBC performance has already been labelled “potent” and “amazing” amongst other things.
