We may be totally in love with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini‘s style, but we’re not *entirely* sure we’ll be going shopping for her latest look – a pair of oversized glasses and eyebrows furrier than a fluffy animal.
Even if she does totally rock such a bizarre look and still look ruddy gorgeous. Not fair.
Don’t worry, though. The eyebrows are totally fake and she was only wearing the disguise as part of the Comic Relief edition of The Graham Norton Show.
Filming for the comedy special, the 31-year-old showed off two new looks – firstly, her beaut new bobbed hairdo, and secondly, a subtle comedy disguise.
Well, you’ve got to avoid the paps somehow, right?
Being a good sport and getting into the spirit of Comic Relief, Cheryl wasn’t afraid to pop on the red glasses and look silly all in the name of this year’s theme, ‘Make Your Face Funny For Money’.
As well as popping on a funny disguise, Chezza also had a chat with Graham about what Comic Relief means to her.
She revealed: “I did Comic Relief Celebrity Apprentice in 2007 and no one had the nerve to call Simon Cowell other than me, which I did on camera asking for money.
“I left him a voicemail saying, ‘It’s Cheryl and I want some money from you. You have half an hour to call me back and I would like between one and ten thousand pounds.’”
“I didn’t think he would turn up, but he did and he gave us £25k. That was the beginning of our working relationship because he admired my tenacity.”
Amazing work, Cheryl. Who knew you’d one day end up arguing with him on The X Factor, eh?
Jennifer Saunders, Jack Dee, Johnny Vegas and David Walliams also appear on the Comic Relief special, with David even revealed a secret past with Cheryl.
Speaking before news broke of his split from wife Lara Stone, the 43-year-old admitted that he once tried to nab a date with Cheryl and her bandmates, but was rejected. By all five of them.
He revealed: “When Girls Aloud came along I met Louis Walsh and asked him if any of the girls were single and he said he would ask.
“I thought he would do that discreetly, but he called a meeting of all of them and asked, ‘Do any of you want to go out with David Walliams?’
Ahhh, we can picture the awkward moment now.
However, David then admitted the result wasn’t *exactly* what he was hoping for, explaining: “It was a No. And that was the end of that.”
Harsh. Still, at least he’s learnt never to ask Louis for a SUBTLE favour again.
Every cloud has a silver lining.
