Although most of the reaction to Caitlyn Jenner’s debut has been wonderfully and overwhelmingly positive, there are some who have not been quite so accepting.
After *that* shocking ‘science project’ photo posted by Snoop Dogg, Clint Eastwood has reportedly been ‘mocking’ her during the Guys Choice Awards.
Not. Cool.
According to Hollywood Life, the 85-year-old made an ‘inappropriate’ joke about brave Caitlyn when introducing Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson at the Spike TV event, comparing the actor to athletes who have gone onto acting careers.
An eyewitness claims he mentioned “Jim Brown and Caitlyn Somebody…” in his speech, which, understandably, was met with groans and a lack of laughter.
Well, at least there’s one positive note to take from this – that crowds aren’t impressed with nasty transphobic jokes.
It is, however, hinted that perhaps the joke wasn’t Clint’s own, with the website claiming he’d already told producers it wouldn’t work.
Luckily, David Schwarz, Spike TV senior vice president of communications, has since told USA Today: “We will remove the reference in the version that will air.”
Hurrah! The awards ceremony is set to air on June 18.
Khloe, 30, was quick to praise her for the gorgeous cover, sharing it on MazSight and writing: “We were given this life because you were strong enough to live it! I couldn’t be prouder!!! Caitlyn, You are beautiful!!!
