Huge congratulations are in order for Dawn O’Porter and Chris O’Dowd, who have welcomed their first son into the world!
CONGRATS, GUYS! Not a bad way to start the year, right?!
The couple announced the news on Twitter, after speculation grew over Dawn’s sudden social media silence last week.
The couple are known for keeping things pretty private, but it seems Chris, 35, is such a proud dad, he just couldn’t keep his excitement about his newborn’s arrival a secret any longer, announcing the news to his followers last night.
Writing alongside a quite frankly terrifiying photoshopped photo, Chris wrote: “It’s a boy! @hotpatooties and I would like to introduce Art O’Porter, our gorgeous baby.”
CUTE. Also funny, and also a little bit nightmare-inducing with the whole bearded baby thing. Fingers firmly crossed that that’s not *actually* what Art looks like at one week old.
Because that would be a bit worrying, no?
Dawn, 36, also took to Twitter to share the couple’s good news, retweeting Chris’ message and adding: “I think we’ll definitely keep him;)”
We hope baby and mumma are happy and Healthy, and we bet Art is a proper gorgeous little boy.
Beard or no beard.
The couple are sure to make mega fun parents, especially after Dawn showed off her mahoosive baby bump at Christmas in a series of pretty darn genius photos.
We love these two too much.
First, there was a shot of the gorgeous Dawn showing off her massive bump and her fetching Christmas cracker hat as she stood next to a rather apt road-marking, writing: “Christmas Day 2014!”
Oh, and if you’re wondering about the sun it’s because the duo live in the lovely and warm Los Angeles.
After taking the pic, Irish actor Chris obviously felt a bit left out, so opted to follow up by taking a selfie with his wife’s belly, and his son to be.
No word yet on whether the couple went ahead with their plans to film the baby’s birth in 3D. Not sure we could cope with that one.
Huge congratulations once again to Dawn and Chris!
