Demi Lovato has dedicated a performance of ‘Warrior’ to Bruce Jenner after he came out as transgender during a two-hour interview with Diane Sawyer.

The singer, who is a friend of the Kardashian Klan, wanted to show some love and support for the former Olympian after he revealed: “Yes, for all intents and purposes – I am a woman.”

All the support for Bruce is amazing, right? HURRAH.

Demi, 22, gave Brucey a shout-out when she took to Vector Arena stage in New Zealand, admitting that it was “so cheesy,” but she didn’t care.

According to E!, after revealing that she didn’t actually know who Bruce was until KUWTK, she said to her adoring fans: “Let’s be honest, neither did you.

“But I just want to dedicate this song…It’s so cheesy that I’m even doing this, but whatever. I want to dedicate it to someone who became an even bigger hero last night—Bruce Jenner!

“By the way, never ever thought I’d dedicate a song to him but he was honest and he was open with his story.

“No matter if you agree with it or not, he probably saved so many lives and educated so many people [about] transitioning into becoming a woman and being transgender and what that’s all about.

“So, yeah, I just want to dedicate it to Bruce Jenner.”

What a ruddy lovely tribute, Demi.

Demi’s choice of song is a brilliantly fitting tribute too, as the opening lyrics are: “This is a story that I have never told. I gotta get this off my chest to let it go.”

The song continues: “Now, I’m a warrior. I got thicker skin. I’m a warrior. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been.”

Bruce sat down with Diane Sawyer on ABC on Friday night for the highly-anticipated tell-all interview, where he discussed his journey towards transitioning, how his family have reacted and what the future holds.

Speaking openly, he revealed: “That female side is part of me. That’s who I am…I look at it this way - Bruce always telling a lie. He’s lived a lie his whole life about who he is. And I can’t do that any longer. Demi Lovato Dedicates 'Warrior' To Bruce Jenner: 'He Probably Saved So Many Lives'

“My brain is much more female than it is male. It’s hard for people to understand that, but that’s what my soul is.”

After stating that he’d felt like a girl growing up, the former Olympian also revealed that by hiding his true identity he had ended up contemplating suicide.

He explained: “I thought wouldn’t the easiest thing right now … just go in the room, get a gun, boom. Pain’s over, it’s done, go to a better place, but then I thought I wanted to see how the story ends.”

The Kardashians and Jenners came out in support of their dad on Twitter, calling them their “hero” and writing just how proud they are of him. N’awww.

His ex-wife Kris wrote: “Not only was I able to call him my husband for 25 years and father of my children, I am now able to call him my hero.”

Step-daughter Kim also came out in support of Bruce, tweeting: “Love is the courage to live the truest, best version of yourself. Bruce is love. I love you Bruce. #ProudDaughter”

Daughter Kylie admitted that the process had been hard on her, but was still 100% behind her Dad, echoing the words of her mum Kris by calling Bruce a ‘hero’, tweeting: Understandingly, this has been very hard for me. You will hear what I have to say when I’m ready to but..this isn’t about me. I’m so proud of you, Dad. You are so brave. My beautiful Hero.”

We’re all super proud of you, Bruce.<3
