Demi Lovato has been rushed to hospital with a lung infection after experiencing “significant” breathing problems.
It’s reported that the singer was rushed to the emergency room yesterday (Tuesday) and is now recovering in hospital.
Get well soon, Demi!
TMZ reports that the 22-year-old singer was taken to Providence Tarzana Medical Center’s ER in california on Tuesday by a friend after she started having ‘significant trouble breathing’.
Demi was apparently given medication, including the antibiotic Z-Pak, after doctors determined that her breathing troubles and subsequent lung infection were ‘flu-related’.
Demi is reportedly still in hospital recovering from the nasty infection.
Sadly, this has meant that she’s had to cancel an exciting recording session with a ‘big producer’, which was apparently all to do with her new album.
Demi’s loyal fans have shown their support for the singer on Twitter using the hashtag #GetWellSoonDemi.
One user wrote: “it’s so scary knowing she’s in the hospital but i know she’ll be okay <3 #GetWellSooneDemi,” whilst another said: “Get better soon baby girl we love you so much #GetWellSoonDemi.”
Another wrote: “That feeling when you are coughing your lungs out but the only thing you can think about is if Demi’s okay #WeLoveYouDemi #GetWellSoonDemi.”
We’re wishing Demi a super speedy recovery and hope she’s feeling much better soon! <3
