East 17′s Brian Harvey has continued to prove that he’s as unpredictable as they come after posting a video of himself smashing up his platinum sales discs in a bizarre meltdown video.
HE’S SO CRAZY. And angry.
Brian ‘Angry’ Harvey they call him (they don’t, but they probably should after this strange outburst).
In the short video, the 40-year-old former East 17 frontman smashes the framed discs against ametal junction box and a set of bins in an alleyway after angrily telling the camera: “East 17, one million sales – this is what it f****** means.”
Maybe you should’ve just got rid of them by selling them on eBay or something, Brian.
He uploaded the video with the title: “F**k the industry 2,” and added the caption: “This is what i think of you all. F*** your record industry, and f*** your weird pedophile world. F*** you.”
Just in case you hadn’t got that yet.
The singer later posted a second video to the channel, showing him picking up the results of his angry smashing session whilst explaining: “I’m a peaceful person, and I pick my rubbish up.”
This isn’t the first time Brian has shown his anger towards something, after it was recently revealed that he’s been conducting his own investigation into child abuse.
Brian met with Labour MP for Rochdale Simon Danczuk in parliament last week to discuss the findings of his investigation into historic sex abuse.
The politican was put in touch with Brian via Labour MP Stella Creasy, who represents Brian’s E17 constituency, as he has led calls for an inquiry into abuse allegations.
And judging by his praise for the singer, will be hoping Brian will stay another day to help in the rest of his investigation. SORRY.
Talking to BuzzFeed News about his meeting with the former band member, Simon explained: “It’s the first time I’ve met him. He came across to me as a really thoughtful person.
“The reason we were meeting up is to discuss some work he’s done around child sex abuse. He was sharing the information that he had gathered.
“He feels quite passionately about protecting children and really wants to make a contribution. We know that showbusiness is an industry that’s had a number of abusers within it.
“He’s providing a number of leads that I’m keen to follow up and that’s exactly what I’ll do. I’m pleased he’s done the work he’s done. We had a good chat. I’d be happy and keen to meet him again.”
Probably some of the most bizarre news we’ve heard all week, but well done, Brian for helping.
Who KNOWS what Brian will do next?!
