With the mystery surrounding Lucy Beale’s murder finally uncovered, you’d think that drama levels in EastEnders would stay low for a while.
Sadly (for our emotional state), there’s no let up in Albert Square as Peter Beale is now hoping Lauren Branning will come with him on a move away from the square.
There’s more spoilers within this story, just to warn you.
Peter Beale has decided that all the secrets surrounding Lucy’s death, including the fact that it was her brother who killed her, are too much to handle and that he wants to make a fresh start of things in New Zealand.
But he doesn’t want to go it alone, asking his on/off girlfriend Lauren Branning to accompany him on his big permanent move.
Quite a big relationship step, right?
In spoiler photos, we see Peter go to visit Lucy’s grave to say his final goodbyes before being joined by Lauren.
The two will share their secrets (JUICY), but the big question is: Will she stay or will she go with Peter?
Cue dramatic duff-duffs.
Jacqueline Jossa, who plays Lauren, is currently on maternity leave after giving birth to the gorgeous Ella last week, so she’s got to be going somewhere.
Plus Peter has already filmed his last scenes, but whether or not they involve running into the sunset with Lauren remains to be seen.
There’s never a dull day in Albert Square.
Elsewhere in the soap, Dot Cotton is in prison and could be jailed for murder if she doesn’t accept help from friends and family.
We’ve also yet to discover what happen to Dean Wicks after he was in a fight with Mick Cater during last week’s dramatic live revelations. Did Mick kill him? Who knows.
Another week, another load of Walford drama.
EastEnders is on BBC One tonight at 7.30pm.
