Ed Sheeran retaliated to Noel Gallagher’s mahoosive rant about him selling out Wembley Stadium in perhaps the best way possible – offering the Oasis rocker tickets to one of his shows.
Noel kickstarted a mini feud with our fave ginger popstar after telling NME: “I don’t think I can live in a world where [Sheeran playing Wembley] is even possible.
“When you hear that kind of polished pop and then there’s a ginger guy with a f**king guitar it seems subversive, but it’s f**king not.”
Ed hit back by tweeting that he “could live in it”, the world where he sells out Wembley that is, and “it’s really enjoyable.”

Now, speaking to Radio 2, the 23-year-old revealed that he’d directly text the Oasis singer to offer him tickets to his show – and the blimmin’ liberty is that Noel took him up on it!
Ed shared: ““He’s always going to be the guy who’s outspoken.
“I wasn’t offended. I found it quite cool to be in his interview.
“I texted him because I have his number and asked him if he’d like some tickets. He wrote back, ‘You cheeky so and so. My daughter would love some’.”
It’s a good thing Ed is so understanding, isn’t it?
The singer added: “I get a lot of stick from press and people but it’s good to get stick – that’s why Americans go off the rails. Ego-wise you are risen and risen and risen.
“If you speak to anyone from Adele to Chris Martin, they would say they are grounded cos they get a hiding from the press.”
That’s one way to look at it we suppose, but we don’t think Noel Gallagher *quite* qualifies as the press.
Either way, if giving Ed ‘a hiding’ is a way to nab some free tickets, maybe we should give it a go… Then again, we don’t actually think we could bring ourselves to be so mean.
WE JUST LOVE YOU TOO MUCH, BABE.
