She may have been nominated for an Oscar this year, but long before she was receiving critical acclaim for her acting roles, Emma Stone was on a TV talent contest.
Yes, the 26-year-old once competed on VH1 reality show In Search Of The New Partridge family back in 2004 when she was just 16…and called Emily.
And as you would expect, she nailed it.
Em can be seen belting out the Meridth Brooks classic ‘B*tch’ (complete with some jaunty dance moves) and she’s really rather impressive.
The premise of the show, in case you didn’t work it out, was searching for people to star in a TV series called The New Partridge Family.
Previously speaking about taking part on the show, Emma admitted that she became extremely competitive, despite going in to it with no expectations.
She said: “You go in there rolling your eyes, thinking, ‘this is just a reality search competition,’ but then you’re there for seven weeks, and you just really, really want to win.”
Luckily for Emma, she did end up winning the role of Laurie Partridge, however, the show was never picked up.
Which was probably for the best considering her meteoric rise to stardom ever since.
