Enrique Iglesias Recovering After Slicing Finger On A Drone During Mexico Concert

Poor Enrique Iglesias is recovering after slicing his fingers when he grabbed a drone during his concert in Tijuana, Mexico.

Do you need anyone to kiss it better or…? No? Oh, okay.

The determined (and ridiculously attractive, even when he’s got a bloodied hand) singer continued to perform for 30 whole minutes, despite being advised to just stop, before being rushed to the airport, where he was met by an ambulance.

The 40-year-old was just 50 minutes into his show when the incident occured, with his representative saying he was “semi-treated” at the side of the stage to stop the bleeding on Saturday night.

In a statement to Associated Press, they explained: “During the show a drone is used to get crowd shots and some nights Enrique grabs the drone to give the audience a Point of View shot.

“Something went wrong and he had an accident.”

They continued: “He decided to go on and continued playing for 30 minutes while the bleeding continued throughout the show. He was rushed to the airport where an ambulance met him there. He was then put on a plane to L.A. to see a specialist.”

Yikes.

Obviously, concertgoers at the Plaza de Toros de Playes weren’t exactly shy when it came to sharing photos of the hunky singer with blood all over his hand and his t-shirt, making for slightly queasy viewing while eating our coco pops.

The show was part of his Sex and Love world tour, with his website show his next show isn’t scheduled until July, in Mexico City.

In the meantime, if you need anyone to kiss it better, give you cuddles or feed you grapes, we’re totally ready and waiting to help out, Enrique. We’re just a quick phonecall (and a pretty long flight) away.
