Dust off your wellies, get searching for your sleeping bag and maybe consider purchasing a rain mac because Glastonbury is fast approaching and the line-up has FI-NA-LLY been revealed – and boy oh boy, does it look AWESOME.
Sadly, there’s still no clue about who’s set to headline the Pyramid Stage on Sunday night, but with the likes of Pharrell Williams, Kanye West and Foo Fighters all on the bill, we’ve got enough excitement to last for now.
The festival released its awesome line-up on Twitter last night, ahead of the event which takes place on June 24th to 28th this year.
The line-up is packed with legends all over the place, with rock’s Patti Smith, R&B’s Mary J Blige and Motown’s Lionel Ritchie all being named on the bill.
Oh, and Lionel will be introduced by the Dalai Lama. INCREDIBLE.
The festival also marks Pharrell’s first performance there as a solo artist, having performed on its stages as part of NERD in the past.
Franz Ferdinand and Sparks are teaming up for a collab set, while Rudimental will be hoping that lightning won’t cut their set short again this year.
George Ezra, Years & Years, Ben Howard, FKA Twigs, Mark Ronson, Motorhead, The Chemical Brothers, Jessie Ware, Paloma Faith and approximately a billion more are also on the bill.
Kanye West and Foo Fighters have already been announced as Friday and Saturday’s headliners respectively, but Sunday’s big act remains a mystery.
AC/DC, Prince and Kate Bush have all been rumoured to be taking the slot, but we’ll have to wait and see what really happens.
BRING ON THE MUD.
