Harry Styles On Sleeping With A Man: ‘Don’t Knock It ‘Til You’ve Tried It’

Did someone put something in Harry Styles Coco Pops that morning? Because he was wild.

Just when we thought that the most important thing we would hear all year was Harry’s “Not that important” comment about the gender of his significant others, he has gone and added even more fuel to the rumours surrounding his sexuality.

In a new interview with The Sun, which was filmed on the same day but only just released, the boys are joking about how they always pretend that Niall Horan has slept with a famous celeb in each new city that they go to.

Discussing who should be the next famous gal to be romantically liked to the Irish popstar, Liam Payne exclaims: “I think we need to go outside the box.”

To that, interviewer Dan Wootton suggests: “A man?”

Then, we *think* Niall says: “What are you talking about, a man?”

And in retaliation, we hear clear as day, without a shadow of a doubt, Harry retort: “Hey, don’t knock it ’til you’ve tried it, Niall,” complete with an affectionate pat on the knee.

Harry Styles, you are on fire.

There has always been speculation surrounding Harry’s sexuality, but it came to a head following his and Liam’s interview with Lucy Jones at ODE.

It all started when Liam and the curly-haired popstar were asked what traits the duo looked for in a lady friend, Liam was quick to be Captain Obvious and quip: “Female, that’s a good trait.”

Interestingly, it looks as though Harry totally tenses up at this suggestion, before he retorts: “Not that important.”

Complete with adorable little nose scrunch and a dismissive flick of the hand.

Never in history has something ‘not that important’ been so, totally important.

Perhaps the biggest rumour that the 20-year-old has found himself the centre of over the last four years is some of the fans belief that he is in a secret, romantic relationship with his bandmate, Louis Tomlinson.

Sound bizarre? Well, the ‘Larry Shippers’ are actually a group of incredibly observant One Direcion fans who have gathered enough gifs, videos, and interview quotes to have a pretty massive, eyebrow-raising box full of rather convincing ‘evidence’.

And when Louis opted to wear a white T-Shirt with the original, rainbow-patterned Apple logo in the week that Harry’s ‘not that important’ comment came to light, and also the week that Apple CEO Tim Cook came out as gay, we all took it as a massive sign that even if he isn’t gay he still massively supports gay rights.

And we applauded him for that.

However, the following Monday in a rather random fit of rage, Louis’ Twitter account caused quite a stir when he hit back at a journalist in an angry rant, concluding with: “I am in fact straight.”

He moaned: “@JennSelby The fact that you work for such a ‘credible’ paper and you would talk such rubbish is laughable. I am in fact straight.

“Google ‘original apple logo’ and you will see the one printed on my shirt that you reported on. Trying to look for a promotion ?”

He then added: “F*cking ridiculous I even have to tweet that sh*t !”

The most shocking thing about the outburst is that Selby’s article doesn’t actually imply anywhere at all that Louis is anything other than ‘straight’, it simply states that Louis is being a positive role model by so publically advocating for LGBTQ+ rights.

Thousands of fans were quick to accuse Louis of  suggesting that you can’t be straight and support equal rights, which you can, in fact, definitely be.

Some fans were so outraged by the tweets that Louis lost well over 20,000 followers within minutes and many said that they would be canceling their preorder of the boys’ new album, FOUR, as a result.

Others were just plain suspicious about the rant, suggesting that the Doncaster lad hadn’t written them at all, mainly because less than 24 hours earlier he had the opportunity to debunk the sexuality rumours in a live interview with long-term One Direction acquaintance, Ben Winston.

During a particularly awkward segment of the livestream, the boys were pressed to share the rumours that they had heard about themselves.

All five boys pulled their best ‘we are thinking really hard’ faces, before claiming that they couldn’t think of anything there and then.

Which, considering that past week had seen speculation surrounding Harry’s sexuality sky-rocket, as well as the headlines surrounding Louis’ rainbow T-Shirt, would have actually been a perfect opportunity for Louis to address the rumours if they really bothered him that much.

Instead, there was just a whole lot of awkward silence before Zayn Malik and Liam teamed up to move the conversation swiftly along.

Nice save, boys.

No matter what is going on with Louis and his Twitter account, it looks as though one bandmate who genuinely doesn’t care if people think that he is gay straight or anything inbetween is Harry, who couldn’t be adding more fuel to that fire if he tried.

And needless to say, although we would be a little bit sad if any hope that we had of becoming Mrs. Styles was well and truly dashed, we would fully support, love, cherish and worship Harry, and any other one of the boys, whether he was gay, straight, bisexual, asexual, or any other type of sexual that you can think of.

Because either way, he’s just a bloomin’ lovely guy, isn’t he?
