Get ready to hit your head against the wall or maybe just scream a lot because there’s new rumours flying around that Harry Styles will be the next to leave One Direction.
Yep, whilst we’re still very much not over the fact that Zayn Malik has quit the famous five (still crying, still asking why, still just in turmoil tbh), there’s already reports that Hazza is looking to pursue a new solo and acting career.
Okay good. Because we’ve never heard that one before.
Despite the fact that yesterday sources said Harry was ‘fighting’ to keep One Direction together, new sources are now claiming that the 21-year-old has ‘distanced himself’ from his 1D amigos.
We’re far too emotional to deal with this right now.
An insider has told E! News: “Harry has told his friends that he wants to get into acting. He loves Los Angeles.
“He’s been writing with other artists like Meghan Trainor, Kodaline and Ariana Grande.”
Another source added: “Harry has distanced himself from the rest of the band over the last year.
“He considers himself to be on a different path to the other boys. He certainly has hopes of doing solo stuff, branching out on his own, and so this might be the natural juncture in which to do that.”
Let us all join together for a collective sigh at these ridiculous ‘reports’.
Interestingly, a completely different source has totally denied these rumours to HollywoodLife.
They revealed: “Harry is interested in acting, writing for other artists, and doing some solo work, but he has made it clear to the other guys in the band, as well as Simon Cowell, that he is down to do all that and still remain in One Direction.
“He is not going to leave the band. He is happily enjoying the ride and looks forward to continuing with them for years to come.”
If that wasn’t enough, bookies are even putting bets on the boys REPLACING Zayn at some point this year.
Let’s just stop you right there, because as everyone knows, the Bradford Bad Boy is totally irreplaceable.
According to The Mirror, the latest odds from Paddy Power show the boys at 5/1 to introduce a new permanent member by the end of 2015.
After Jeremy Clarkson’s BBC wasn’t renewed, he is at odds of 250/1 to join the band, and there are 2/1 odds on the band splitting altogether this year – 4/1 of them splitting next year.
We’re pretty sure the boys are far too upset to be dealing with the idea of replacing Zayn and his high notes at the moment, so we’re not even going to consider that option.
