All hail Helen Mirren because once again she’s given the celebrity crew a serious run for her money when it comes to twerking.
Appearing on Live With Kelly & Michael in the US yesterday, the British actress was embarassingly reminded of the time she twerked in twerked in Harvard earlier this year.
Before she knew it the 69-year-old was shaking her booty again – after being challenged to twerk off by host Michael Strahan.
(WHICH SHE MOST CERTAINLY WON BTW).
The actress, who is on a campaign trail for her latest movie The Hundred-Foot Journey, recently talked about how she keeps in such good shape – revealing she follows a Royal Canadian Air Force exercise plan from the 1950s.
She said: “I do a thing that leads me into exercise. It is the Royal Canadian Air Force exercise plan; it is 12 minutes and they have charts you follow. Each day, you have to do the exercises within the 12 minutes and until you can, you can’t move up.
“It is the exercise I have done off and on my whole life. It just very gently gets you fit. Two weeks of doing that and you think: ‘Yeah, I could go to the gym now.’”
Well it’s certainly paid off, luv.
And we’d *EVEN* go so far as arguing that it’s better than this:
