They were reportedly engaged in a bitter feud for months if various reports are to be believed. However, if they were at odds, things seem to be better than ever before between the Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex.

According to a report in Us weekly, the bond between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle is growing because they have something very important in common now that they are both mothers. If they had a feud in the past, it is apparently behind them now.

“Meghan and Kate will be spending a lot more time together,” a source told the publication. “Now that they’re bonding over motherhood, they’ve become closer than ever.

The report comes after much was made over the fact that it took more than a week for Middleton and her husband, Prince William, to meet their new nephew, Archie Harrison. Despite his being born on May 6, the couple reportedly did not meet him until May 14.

However, it was worth noting that the couple did have several royal engagements on their calendars that they kept to, which might have been the reason behind their delay in visiting with Archie. However, after news broke of his birth, the pair still expressed excitement in public over the news.

“Obviously thrilled, absolutely thrilled, and obviously looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quietened down,” Prince William said at the time. “I’m very pleased and glad to welcome my brother into the sleep deprivation society that is parenting. I wish him all the best and I hope in the next few days they can settle down and enjoy having a newborn in their family and the joys that come with that.”

“We’re looking forward to meeting him,” Kate added. “…these next few weeks are always a bit daunting the first time round so we wish them all the best.”
