It’s been almost three weeks in the I’m A Celebrity camp now, so you’d think the celebrities would be pretty much prepared for every eventuality out there.
However, today’s challenge could prove too much, as the celebs face potential evacuation after australian authorities issued a severe thunderstorm warning for areas around the Queensland jungle.
We think we might’ve found something that’s actually scarier that all those eight-legged things that have crawling their way round camp. And the celebrities’ faces. Not that we found that funny, AT ALL.
A spokesman for The Australian Government’s Bureau of Meteorology said: “Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce large hailstones, heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and damaging winds in the warning area over the next several hours.”
The government’s statement also warned residents to “move cars under cover,” “unplug electrical appliances” and stay indoors.
Erm, not really an option when you’re stuck slap bang in the middle of a deserted jungle. THE VALLEY PART.
A plan in place means campmates would be moved to higher ground if the storm comes in, and eventually evacuated completely if their camp became too dangerous to film in.
It’s not just the campmates in trouble either. ITV itself could face serious problems with the two satellites they have for the show.
There’s been no word from the show on how the situation is developing, so fingers crossed it will all just blow over. Pun intended.
The threat of evacuation didn’t seem to have reached camp last night, with spirits riding high as Kendra Wilkinson revealed how much she earnt in her short career as a stripper.
HALF A MILLION DOLLARS, TO BE PRECISE. No big deal or anything.
The former Playboy bunny regaled the celebrity campsite with the story of how she became a stripper at the age of 18, before bragging that she earned a RIDONCULOUS $4,000 on her first night.
The 29-year-old reality star revealed that one day when she was 17 she “woke up” and simply decided that she was going to be a stripper.
Kendra explained: “I’m just like a free spirit and I wanted to see how much I could earn.
“I like to party so I looked up my nearest strip club and I told my boyfriend I’m just going to call and see what happens. So I call and I’m like, ‘How do I become a stripper?’”
As you do, naturally.
We’ll keep you updated on storm-gate and we’re just keeping our fingers crossed that it’s typical weathermen being dramatic.
Somehow though, we think we might be wrong.
