It’s probably the most famous shower in the world. A shower that’s catapulted the likes of Myleene Klass and, erm, Matthew Wright to the jungle hall of fame.
And last night, new I’m A Celebrity campmate Nadia Forde took her turn in the shower to (un)officially launch the start of this year’s battle of the jungle bodies.
Actually, if we’re being truthful, 25-year-old Nadia is just following in the footsteps of Gemma Collins, 33, who was the first campmate to be brave enough to try out the alternative shower experience.
Sadly, she’s now decided to ditch the jungle, so it’s down to Nad and the rest of the girls to continue the shower’s legacy.
Being a model means she’s used to the cameras, so we already knew that Nadia would have no problems stripping down to her bikini in front of the entire nation. It’s no surprise then that she’s already flaunting her enviable body in a super cute leopard-print bikini.
Well, a girl’s gotta shower hasn’t she?
Nadia no doubt left Craig Charles, the only male left in the Celebrity Slammer, with his jaw open after stepping into the shower to potentially steal Myleene’s bikini crown.
When in Oz and that.
The Coronation Street actor was left on the outside of the girls’ gang after other campmates chose to rescue superbike champion Carl Fogarty and bring him to the (vaguely) nicer camp in the outback.
Whilst we thought he’d be lapping it up like a cat on a saucer of milk, Craig admitted to the Bush Telegraph that he actually found the arrangement kinda stressful.
Fair enough. He said: “It’s like I’m in a chic flick. There’s no car chases, there’s no gun fights. I’m just stuck in the middle of it really.
“They talk about make-up and magazines and menstrual cycles and sexy men and that kind of stuff.”
Ah. Yeah, we might be able to see why that’s awkward now.
Still, he didn’t seem to mind Nadia trying to create a bikini out of bark for the “jungle Jane” look, of course.
He joked: “I’m the cute friend. The one everyone feels sorry for and they think they can talk to, but they don’t realise that secretly I’m in love with them. It’s that kind of thing.”
Nadia and co are, obviously, finding the whole thing quite funny, admitting to the BT: “I think we are slowly and surely turning him (Craig) into a female. I think he’s dying for a bit of male company.”
At least there’s one less woman for Craig to handle now that Gemma has packed her bags.
But who will be next for the jungle shower?
