She’s had a controversial time *cough* to say the least since leaving the X Factor panel after the 2012 season.
But today Simon Cowell hinted that N-Dubz star Tulisa could show her face again on the ITV1 show.
Speaking to Yahoo Celebrity at the X Factor London auditions, the media mogul acknowledged that she’d had a tough ride in recent weeks but that he wasn’t going to hold the drama against her.
Asked if he would have the singer back on the show as the mystery fifth judge he said: “Tulisa’s been through a lot. But I wouldn’t rule out working with her in the future.”
VERY COY, SIMON, VERY COY.
With rumours ahoy that SiCo is bringing in a mystery fifth member of the panel for the live shows who will mentor a brand new wildcard category.
And c’mon, who would be better placed to line up alongside Simon, Louis, Cheryl Cole and Mel B than good old Tulisa herself?
With Rita Ora and Mary J Blige’s names being thrown into the ring already, T – who in recent weeks had a run-in with the Fake Sheikh and a conviction for assaulting a blogger – may be not Simon’s first choice.
Especially as reports suggested that he unceremoniously sacked her before the 2013 series – despite neither party ever confirming it.
But we’d sorta LOVE to see her back on our Saturday night screens.
And despite having some lovely words to say about Tulisa, SiCo wasn’t NEARLY as nice about her panel replacement Cheryl Cole.
Speaking about Chezza’s recent secret Wedding to Frenchie Jean Bernard Fernandez-Visini, Simon told us: “I’m surprised Cheryl has found someone to be with her full time as she’s such high maintenance.”
Meanwhile fellow judge Mel B has ruled out Victoria Beckham as her mentor on the show – NOW THAT’S SOMETHING WE WOULD HAVE LOVED TO SEE.
Mel told us: “Victoria is a friend but she won’t be joining me at Judge’s Houses.”
