Is Snoop Dogg About To Become A Judge On The X Factor?

Could this be the beginning of a beautiful new friendship for Louis Walsh? (Well, only if he doesn’t make another ‘Lenny Henry’ faux pas).

Snoop Dogg (is it still Snoop Dogg? Or is he Snoop Lion these days? WHO CARES, LET’S CALL HIM SNOOP DOGG) has revealed that there’s a distinct possibility that he might be in with a chance of bagging a seat on the judges panel on X Factor.

Yes, The X Factor, known across the world for creating a veritable feast of  acts that have shook the world of hip-hop and urban music to it’s core.

Or not.

Anyway, the rapper has admitted that he’s had “more than one discussion” with none-other than head-honcho Simon Cowellabout taking a seat alongside Cheryl, Mel B and Louis Walsh.

Seriously, what a panel that’d be folks. WHAT. A. PANEL.

Speaking to The Sun, Snoopy said:  “Never rule out me being a judge, I have had more than one discussion with Simon.”

Of course, it’s not the only ITV institution that the pot-smoking rap demagogue has had his eyes on.

Back in the glory days of 2010 and freshly released from his UK travel-ban, the MoneySupermaket.com super-fan admitted that he had a long-held desire to make a cameo appearance in none-other than Coronation Street.

Imagine that eh? Snoop Dogg getting mash-up with Rita and Norris?

He told reporters at the time: “I had my agent reach out to them to see if they could try to get me on and they said they were interested so hopefully it might happen. It would be perfect for me to be on the show.”

“I love the whole dynamic, the way it is put together, it is my world, it is something I could fall into.”

Someone at ITV is probably having kittens as we  speak.

We still don’t know which judges are returning for the 2015 series – so just watch this space, as our Saturday nights might be about to get a little bit ‘Compton’, IF YOU KNOW WHAT WE MEAN.
