It’s been ten whole years since Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt went their separate ways, and ten whole years since everyone stopped talking about what happened, what’s happening now and how she feels about it all.
JUST KIDDING. Because ten years on, many of us are still guilty of talking about every aspect of what caused their split and how Jen feels about his relationship with Angelina Jolie.
And to be honest, she just wants us to STOP ALL THE DRAMA and leave it for our mamas now.
Girl’s got a point. Sorry, Jen.
Looking completely and utterly gorgeous as she spoke to The Hollywood Reporter, the 45-year-old actress acknowledged that #Bennifer is still the talk of the town, despite the fact that nobody’s actually to blame for what happened, and she’s totally, 100% over it all.
She explained: “We’re not in daily communication. But we wish nothing but wonderful things for each other. Nobody did anything wrong. You know what I mean? It was just like, sometimes things [happen].
“If the world only could just stop with the stupid, soap-opera bulls**t. There’s no story.
“I mean, at this point it’s starting to become — please, give more credit to these human beings.”
So THERE, world. Ten years later, let’s just let them live their lives yeah?!
The drama surrounding #Bennifer started when the world went ruddy mental when Brad and Angelina started dating in 2005, AFTER his split from Jen. AF-TER.
Last year, Bragelina finally tied the knot in the South of France, with Ange wearing a dress covered in her children’s drawings.
Despite the fact that Brad has moved on with Angelina and Jennifer’s moved on with fiancé Justin Theroux, the actress has continually been forced to discuss her relationship past, as much as she tries to tell everyone to pee off. In a nicer way, of course.
And of course, she looking absolutely gorgeous whilst doing it.
Jen recently sat down with CBS Sunday Morning to discuss both her past relationship with Brad and her current relationship with Justin, admitting once again that she’s actually very much over her 2005 divorce thank you very much.
And that, our friend, is what they call CLOS-URE. Ahem.
Asked about how she finds the situation, Jen revealed: “I don’t find it painful [though].
“I think it’s a narrative that follows you because it’s an interesting headline. It’s more of a media-driven topic.
“Everybody has [moved on].”
Glad to hear it, Jen.
The moral of the story is, Jennifer is TOTALLY OVER BRAD, and we should all TOTALLY GET OVER IT. The end.
