Last year he was in a similar position himself.
And now Josh Hutcherson has spoken out in defence of his Hunger games co-star Jennifer Lawrence following nude pictures of the star being leaked.
The 21-year-old actor told ET Canada that he believes it is unfair for people in the media to have to live in fear of such severe invasions of privacy.
He said: “Actually I haven’t talked to her but I just think all that stuff is so ridiculous.
“We’re people to, man, we just want to live, we want to be normal people, it’s not fair.”
In 2013, Josh himself fell victim to a nude picture leak, saying that he believes these situations are ‘truly unfair’.
He explained: “I think everyone has their own way of getting through it.
“It’s something you obviously don’t want to happen to you and its really unfortunate that it happens but, I don’t know, I hate the way the world sort of views those sorts of issues. It’s really truly not fair.”
Lawrence, who is yet to make a public appearance since the shocking breach of privacy, previously admitted that she tends to stay at home rather than go out in a bid to regain control of her private life.
She said: “To be honest, I don’t really leave my house a lot.
“I have to find a life that isn’t work. But I suck at everything, I’m not good at anything else!”
