More female celebrities have been threatened with further nude leaks.
But for Jessie J, the idea of her private photos being uploaded online for all to see doesn’t worry her at all.
In fact, she encourages it.
Speaking to The Daily Star, the 26-year-old singer admitted that she ‘can’t wait’ for the inevitable leak to happen.
She explained: “I can’t wait for mine to come out.
“There’s a bad girl in every good girl. I’m human and every single woman in this industry is in a long distance relationship so sometimes you gotta throw things down to keep your man.
“At the end of the day, yes, its awful and disgusting it happens, but I think if you’re famous you’re going to have to expect those things will happen.”
Each to their own, we suppose – although we wonder if she’d have the same point of view if her name had actually appeared on the latest list of celebrities being threatend with nude leaks?
A second list of celebrities appeared on both 4Chan and Reddit earlier this week, with hacked nude photo sets popping up all over the place.
Included in the 27-strong list is Emma Watson, Kim Kardashian, Emily Ratajkowski, Avril Lavigne, Rihanna, Kaley Cuoco, Candice Swanepoel, Vanessa Hudgens, Sarah Hyland and Scarlett Johansson, to name but a few.
And while most have been uploaded to 4Chan and removed already, poor Emma Watson appears to have become the main target, with hackers creating a whole website with its own countdown to the leak of hers.
The mysterious website shows a picture of the actress wiping away a tear with a digital timer counting down the seconds to release.
Ironically, this threat of exposing Emma in a violating breach of her privacy after stealing her private images, comes just two days after she delivered a powerful and empowering speech on feminism at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
The actress was launching her ‘HeForShe’ campaign for men and boys worldwide to end gender inequality, advocating the important role that men have in helping women and girls achieve equal rights.
The 24-year-old Goodwill Ambassador for women described her decision to call herself a feminist “uncomplicated” as she spoke of a need for there to be more feminists in society.
And, well, doesn’t this kind of prove her point?
