It’s been a while since she really ticked someone off.
But now, just in the knick of time, Joan Rivers has managed to rub Kristen Stewart up the wrong way thanks to a gag in her upcoming book – and is being sued as a result.
The 81-year-old comedian, known for her cutting jokes about the rich and famous, made a quip about the 24-year-old’s infamous affair with Snow White and the huntsman direction Rupert Sanders in her latest book ‘Diary Of A Mad Diva’.
So what was it exactly that ticked K-Stew off?
“Many stars only do one thing well. Of course, the best one-trick-pony is Kristen Stewart, who got a whole career by being able to juggle a director’s balls.”
That’ll do it.
Speaking to TMZ, Joan confirmed that Kristen is in fact taking her to court over the comments.
She explained: “I am now being sued by Kristen Stewart. She obviously didn’t read our disclaimer, which says it’s a comedy book.
“I can’t wait to get her into court because I’m gonna get a puppet and I want her to show me on the puppet where she thinks I claim she touched her director. I am looking forward to it.
“Her lawyer contacted my lawyer, which shows the sense of humour she has.
“My answer to her was, ‘Be glad you’re not a Kardashian’ because they’re mentioned a lot more in the book.”

She added: “I’m a comedian. I’ve been doing it for 50 years. If people don’t get it, then don’t come and see me. It’s okay. Don’t read the book. If you’re gonna take it seriously, you’re a fool.”
Joan’s representative has now confirmed to E! news that Kristen’s attorney got in contact over the remark.
They told the site: “There was a phone call made by Kristen’s attorney to Joan’s attorney regarding the content of the book.
“Considering the nature of the book, Diary of a Mad Diva, one needs only to read the prologue of the book to understand the context of the words that are written.”
