Twitter basically imploded when Justin Bieber’s new Calvin Klein campaign shots dropped this week, mainly because he looked so blimmin’ buff.
But while many people were totally on board with the label’s new face, others were a *little* miffed by the fact that Biebs, 20, seemed to have a grown some rather impressive muscles and *ahem* other assets over night.
As rumours of serious photoshopping did the rounds, one website has now claimed to have the original, unedited pics… and they’re *slightly* different.
US site BreatheHeavy released the images, which they claim are genuine (although we’re not 100% sure), showing a much, much skinnier Bieber.
A source on the shoot reportedly claimed: “Bieber specified he wanted to look taller and buff. Bigger bulge implied.”
Well, fair enough we suppose.
The pop star has denied allegations that computer trickery was involved, claiming to have worked out really hard ahead of the shoot.
He said: “I work out with my trainer, Patrick Nilsson, five days a week for about 45 minutes each. We do three days splits: back and triceps one day, chest and biceps on day two, shoulder and legs on day three, and abs every other day.
“I’m not on a special diet, but I do try to watch what I eat. I do eat unHealthy sometimes – I am a 20-year-old guy.”
We hear you, Biebs.
One person who wasn’t too keen on the black and white snaps was Mark Wahlberg’s wife Rhea Durham, who didn’t seem to think that the new campaign was a patch on her hubbie’s original with Kate Moss back in the 1990s.
She tweeted: “My baby was the 1st and the best and not to mention…..wow the retouching.”
Let’s just say, he’s not *quite* giving Marky Mark a run for his money. Sorry Biebs.
