OK, before we go on, we feel we have to make a full disclosure about all of this: any opportunity we can get to post pictures of Justin Bieber looking fit in his pants, we will – OK? AND WE’RE NOT EVEN SORRY ABOUT IT.
Now that’s out of the way, how’s about we fill you in on the latest story surrounding Justin Bieber’s infamous Calvin Klein photoshoot. First came the shock: “OH MY GOD, LOOK AT IT”, then came the Lara Stone being bullied by Beliebers story, and THEN came the biggie - Photoshop accusations.
And Justin’s so annoyed about the last one that he’s apparently threatening COURT ACTION.
You’d think the guy had seen enough of the courtroom recently, right?
If your mind can’t stretch back 24 hours (heavy night on Friday, was it?) then let us remind of you what’s happened. A website – BreatheHeavy - claimed to have original, unedited pics of the Calvin Klein shoot and they appear to be ever-so *slightly* different from the official, publicised images.
The pics released by BreatheHeavy, which they claim are genuine (although we’re not 100% sure), show a much, much skinnier Bieber.
Meh, we still would to be honest (we repeat, WE’RE NOT EVEN SORRY).
Anyhoo, according to TMZ, the Bieb’s ‘team’ sent the website a strongly-worded letter, which threatened the website with a defamation case for publishing the offending GIF.
They say that instead of the official photo being faked, it was in fact BreatheHeavy’s image which was photoshopped, and that it’s ‘damaging to the brand’.
If you say so, Team Bieber.
Anyway, Justin and his ‘crewdem’ are playing a major game of hardball – demanding that the post is removed, alongside the issuing of a full apology – admitting that the photo was a lie.
Who’d have thought that an innocent enough picture of a young man in his pants would cause such a palaver?
The pop star has denied allegations that computer trickery was involved, claiming to have worked out really hard ahead of the shoot. He said: “I work out with my trainer, Patrick Nilsson, five days a week for about 45 minutes each. We do three days splits: back and triceps one day, chest and biceps on day two, shoulder and legs on day three, and abs every other day.”
“I’m not on a special diet, but I do try to watch what I eat. I do eat unHealthy sometimes – I am a 20-year-old guy.”
One person who wasn’t too keen on the snaps was Mark Wahlberg’s wife Rhea Durham, who didn’t seem to think that the new campaign was a patch on her hubbie’s original with Kate Moss back in the 1990s.
She tweeted: “My baby was the 1st and the best and not to mention…..wow the retouching.”
To be honest, the only thing we know to be real and not fake in the world right now, is our unquenchable thirst for Calvin Klein Bieber.
Our favourite version of the Biebs by a country mile.
