Oh the drama!
Kanye West was reportedly rushed to hospital in Melbourne on Wednesday after suffering a suspected seizure ahead of his show.
But despite the massive furore surrounding the star’s dash to A&E, it seems that he may just have been suffering from a migraine.
THANK GOD FOR THAT.
The singer, 37, was apparently back up on his feet after an emergency MRI scan and even managed to perform his concert that evening… but not before some MAJOR panic ensued.
An australian woman woman called Loraine Kelly (no, not that one) was in the hospital with her daughter when Kanye was rushed in on a stretcher.
She told Australia’s Woman’s Day magazine: “My daughter was having an MRI. Shortly after it began, security burst in and cleared the area.
“Everyone was moved out of the waiting and consulting rooms. We were the only ones left apart from doctors and nurses – we couldn’t leave as the MRI wasn’t finished.”
She added: “Next thing we knew, Kanye was stretchered in surrounded by security. He had one side of his face covered with something white.
“Everyone was massively panicked. And they were very nervous about making sure the area was completely clear.”
Blimey – talk about dramatic!
According to reports, doctors were worried that Kanye was on the verge of a seizure, giving him an emergency MRI scan on the spot.
But an insider told E!: “[Kanye is] fine and didn’t have a major health scare or seizure.
“He just suffered a migraine and went to the hospital simply as a precaution.”
It seems that the Bound 2 singer made a recovery in time for his show at the Rod Laver Arena, after spending two hours in the hospital.
Kim Kardahisan’s hubbie has got another two major arena dates over the next few days as he wraps up the Australia leg of his tour.
Then we think he should have a few early night and a mug or two of Horlicks.
