Move over Prince George, rumor has it two princesses will be joining the British royal family come this spring. Following the Clarence House’s announcement that Kate Middleton and her husband, Britain’s Prince William, are expecting their second child last month, Star magazine is now reporting that the Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with not one, but two future monarchs.

The tabloid claims in its Oct. 20 print issue that Middleton, 32, learned she was having twins during a recent ultrasound with Prince William. “When they looked at the screen and saw two tiny human beings they were completely overwhelmed,” a “longtime friend of the couple” told the magazine. “Will and Kate got quite emotional when they found out,” added the source.

Middleton’s second bout with hyperemesis gravidarum, an acute form of morning sickness, which she also suffered from while pregnant with Prince George in 2012, reportedly tipped off doctors she might be carrying more than one baby. “Her doctors said it could be twins and the ultrasound confirmed it,” said the source.

Despite the duchess only being less than 12 weeks into her pregnancy (gender reveals usual occur at 16 weeks according to Parents.com), the magazine claims that Middleton is already privy to her children’s genders, reporting that she is allegedly “carrying two baby girls.”

“Kate has been daydreaming about what it will be like to have two little girls,” said a source. “She thinks it’s going to be great fun dressing them up identically or in complementary styles while they are little.”

With two royal buns reportedly in the oven, the insider said that Middleton, who has missed many scheduled appearances in recent weeks due to her pregnancy-related illness, is now focused on preparing for her new babies due in either March of April 2015. The couple will reportedly build nurseries in their Kensington Palace apartment in London and their country estate in Norfolk, Anmer Hall.

Despite her plans to make her home baby-friendly, the duchess is currently living with her parents in Bucklebury, England, People magazine reported Tuesday. Her morning sickness is said to be the cause of the relocation.

“[She is] not at all well, the poor thing,” a “family friend” of the Middletons told the magazine. “When you’re ill, the place you feel most comfortable is at home with your mum, isn’t it? … When she’s there, Kate can just relax and sit on the sofa and not have to worry about having to deal with all the staff and everything else that comes with a big palace full of rooms.”
